Since our inception, Scheetz Companies has been known for the professionalism and quality of work we provide. Much of our business comes from word of mouth and the reputation that we have within our region of Northeast Ohio. That is a great tribute to our staff and the service we strive to provide every day to our customers.

Our History

Scheetz Building Corporation was founded in 1992 by Jon Scheetz. He started as a carpenters apprentice right out of high school and worked his way up the ranks to carpenter foreman, superintendent and eventually part owner of the company.

Even after becoming an owner, Jon always felt that there were ways to improve the business, craftsmanship and customer service. At that point in 1992 he decided to start Scheetz Building Corporation.

After several years of growth and success Jon Split off residential and development companies from Scheetz Building Corporation into what is now known as the Scheetz Companies. Jon has since left his position with the company but still remains as a consultant for the business operations.

Under Jon’s leadership the company had 25 successful years of business. Since his departure, the second generation of family has stepped in and has taken over the operational role. His son, Matt Scheetz, became President of the company portfolio and looks to build on and to preserve the legacy that Jon has left.
